            Carolina Pizza and Pasta Works, lovingly referred to as CPW’s, is a great place to enjoy delicious food in a classy atmosphere.  It features a main seating area and a fully stocked bar with tables.  It’s a great choice for a tasty lunch or it’s the perfect spot for a romantic dinner.  All the dishes are freshly prepared and well presented.  The knowledgeable staff is friendly and very prompt.

CPW’s specializes in Italian pasta dishes, but also offer an excellent selection of appetizers, salads, sandwiches and home-made pizzas.  They feature a specialty ‘theme’ menu that changes every few months.  CPW’s is currently offering, “Planet Barbecue—A Tribute to Man and His Grill”.  This menu boasts ten different items that will satisfy any appetite, including appetizers, salads and, of course, barbecue.  As if the menu wasn’t enticing enough, they also offer a selection of specialty drinks to compliment these signature dishes.

To advertise these special menus, the restaurant decorates the iron gate separating the main seating area from the bar.  They are currently displaying a string of lights with grills and steaks and festive cooking aprons.  The aprons are also seen on the wait staff and say things like, “Tender, succulent and naturally aged.  The meat’s not bad either”, or “It’s going to be cooked well done, ok?” with a picture of a grill with a three foot flame shooting out of it.  Very clever.  When the wait staff at CPW’s dress according to that month’s theme menu, it adds to the overall atmosphere that makes dining there so enjoyable. 

Not only is the food superb, but it is fairly priced for portion and quality.  CPW’s is the perfect place for lunch or business dinners, romantic dates or simply unwinding after a long day.  They have something to satisfy everyone’s appetite.  Go by and check out this month’s “Planet Barbecue” and enjoy one of Greenville’s finest restaurants.  Carolina Pizza and Pasta Works is located at 2422 Stantonsburg Rd. and is open Saturday through Thursday 11am until 10pm and on Friday from 11am until 11pm.  Call (252) 757-7756 for more information or reservations.
